2026 CMP Driver - Advanced

Advanced drivers are highly experienced participants who demonstrate strong car control, consistent lap times, and a thorough understanding of vehicle dynamics and track etiquette. These drivers typically have extensive track experience and are capable of operating safely and consistently at higher speeds. Advanced drivers are expected to maintain excellent situational awareness, execute safe and efficient passing in designated zones, and drive predictable racing lines while managing traffic with less restriction than lower run groups. At this level, drivers focus on refining advanced techniques such as optimizing braking thresholds, maximizing corner exit speed, managing tire performance, and improving overall lap efficiency while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism on track.
Event organizer retains the final authority to determine and adjust a driver’s run group placement. Organizers may reassign drivers before or during the event based on observed driving ability, prior experience, or instructor feedback to ensure that each participant is placed in the most appropriate group for safe and effective track operation.
